Motionist (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by Anubhav Prabhakar, based in Bengaluru, India. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit motionist.app and sign up for our waitlist.
What we collect
When you sign up for the Motionist waitlist, we collect your email address. That’s it. We do not collect your name, location, payment information, or any other personal data through the waitlist form.
How we use your email
Your email is used to:
- Confirm your waitlist signup
- Share Motionist development progress, milestones, and behind-the-scenes updates
- Notify you when Motionist is ready to use
You should expect emails roughly once or twice a month during the pre-launch period. We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. We will never send you marketing for other products or services.
Where your data is stored
Your email address is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Confirmation and update emails are sent through Resend, a transactional email service. Both services maintain their own privacy and security practices.

Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our website. These tools collect anonymous usage data such as page views and referral sources. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
Cookies
Motionist does not set any first-party cookies. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may set minimal technical cookies required for site delivery. We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or profiling.
Data retention
We retain your email address for as long as the waitlist is active and through the launch period of Motionist. Once we have notified all waitlist members about the launch, we will delete waitlist data within 12 months unless you have created a Motionist account, in which case your data is governed by the product’s terms at that time.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent to receive emails at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@motionist.app. We will process your request within 30 days.
Data deletion
To have your email removed from the waitlist, send a request to privacy@motionist.app. We will delete your data and confirm the deletion via email within 30 days.
Children
Motionist is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
